Planning out the contents and download time of the phase files was of incredibly high importance to the development process. The goal was to make sure that nobody would be stuck waiting at a downloading screen — with something to tide players over at every step of the way.
The Toontown Preservation Project is an educational archive hosted by Toontown Rewritten to preserve the history of Disney's Toontown Online. Toontown Rewritten is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company and/or the Disney Interactive Media Group. Toontown Rewritten is an entirely free game, funded out of pocket by its staff members. Neither the game nor this archive contain subscriptions, advertisements, donations, or any other forms of revenue.
